Around the time I was converting to the Catholic faith, my friend Greg spent almost a year telling me about a St. Louis festival called “Moose Mania.” Eventually, the day of Moose Mania came around and I found out the truth: he had made the whole thing up.

 

So we decided to make Moose Mania real.
 

It started as a house parties with friends, but the Moose element stuck. Since that first Moose Mania, I’ve organized Halloween and Christmas parties, young adult semi-formals at Grant’s Farm and the Piper Palm House at Tower Grove Park, events at The Golden Hoosier, fitness events for men, “Theology on Tapout” MMA classes for young adults, the Cross My Heart Catholic Dating Show in both St. Louis and Denver and more.

 

Over time, what started as a joke between friends turned into something much more meaningful and real. I saw how much people wanted places to meet other Catholics, make friends, have fun, and actually build community outside of the usual settings.

With your support, we want to keep putting on fun and meaningful events for Catholic young adults, fundraise for nonprofits while working toward something bigger: a Catholic gym and a true “third space” where Catholics of all ages and stages of life can meet, organize, build community, and evangelize.​ Any support, whether monetary or just telling somebody about one of our events, is greatly appreciated.
